KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest lay Catholic family service organization. As their forebears more that a century ago, today's Knights and their families stand shoulder to shoulder in support of one another. Through  their charity and the examples of their lives, they stand in service to all  as witnesses to the Good News of the gospel. St. Angela Merici's Knights of Columbus council #9511 was formed in 1987. Its membership now stands at 150 men. It also has a woman's auxiliary. Examples of what the Knights do day in and day out abound.

They run monthly and Lenten Fish Fry dinners, blood drives, participate in the Parish Ministry fair, Casino Night fundraiser, memorial Mass for deceased brother Knight, youth basketball free- throw contest, high school essay scholarships, Christmas caroling and parish Santa Clause visits, St. Valentine sweetheart Dance, and man the beverage bar at the Parish Summerfest. In addition to these activities other avenues are available for parish Knights which enrich spiritual and fraternal life.

Our members offer such a diversity and strength that magnify what we do. our Councel has great wit, humor passion and faith. By witnessing everyday examples of how our brothers give and live, we realize how much they our Catholic faith and Church.
