ACTIVE CHRISTIANS TODAY
(A.C.T.)

 

Active Christians Today was initiated back in 1972 with one goal, to help those in need, and has been operating ever since by the contributions and generous donations from St. Angela Merici church parishioners and local Brea merchants.

A.C.T. is non-denominational non-profit Christian organization, which helps the needy and homeless in Brea and within our sorrounding church boundaries. We offer bread, bakery, and food to the needy and hungry. We also offer clothing, shoes, small furniture, and household items. There is financial assistance dependent of funding, temporary lodging on an emergency basis (primary when children are involved). The government commodities are issue on the first Thursday of each month. A.C.T. is proud to provide referrals for dental, medical and legal assistance, while maintaing co-operative relationship with Brea Community Emergency Council.

A.C.T. is funded by the donations of everyday household goods and food and/or monetary contributions. Thanks to the many hours of volunteer service donated, A.C.T. has been successful in making our hopes a reality.
